| | Travel Insurance if you contract Covid before leaving
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any companies offering travel insurance that covers a failed covid test (before travel) which would mean travel is no longer possible.
Thank you for any advice.

That would be totally crazy and put many others at risk, surely.

Sorry Jackie, I clearly won't travel with Covid. I have booked a holiday to the Maldives end of December. You need a negative test to fly. I am asking if there is any insurance that covers cancellation due to this.

They are asking for travel insurance to cover cost of cancellation if they are unable to travel due to a positive COVID test.
Edit: I see this has now been cleared up. Note to self: check replies before finishing a post interrupted by a phone call.

TCS now no longer excludes Covid19 with their travel insurance but you need to check the fine print (only if you yourself or a close person contracts Covid19 you can cancel the trip).
