A taste of the UK/US/AUS: Going abroad in Zürich

I'd like to organize a "Going abroad in Zürich" event for some English students and need your ideas on what/who to visit. On my list:
  1. The Bohemia for Breakfast
  2. English Mass at 11.15 on Sundays at the English Speaking Catholic Mission
  3. Neptunstrasse 60 (for a Sunday tour)
  4. The Mousetrap Bar at the Viadukt: Fantastic British feeling and delicious cheese
  5. The Pie Shop at the Viadukt: Savory British pies
  6. Michelle's Cupcakes (for a Saturday tour)

Could someone recommend a cafe that serves scones & clotted cream without having to buy the whole afternoon tea menu?

I'm also looking for a nice English pub and any other ideas you might have.

Thanks!

Not sure about English pubs but there are plenty of Irish pubs, which are basically the same thing. The Green Room and Kennedy's both sell good fish and chips but you may have eaten enough by that point. There's the Nelson off Bahnhofstrasse -- a bit scruffy and football-oriented but authentic enough.

The Nelson isn‘t really authentic and the beer is suspect. Far better would be the Oliver Twist in Niederdorf.

I‘ve not had the breakfast at Bohemia, but the internet says it‘s an American one? Kennedys do a decent one as do the Fork and Bottle.

Fair enough, I haven't actually been there for about 5 years as I think there are plenty of better alternatives.

Café Schwarzenbach did scones a while back but it may not be able to fit a group larger than four, it's very small.
