Hello everybody,

Going to JUNGFRAU SKI REGION on one day ski trip, driving from Zug.

Where is the shortest drive point to park the car and climb up? TIA

You can drive to Grindelwald, park and pay and take the train or cabin. Alternatively you can park at Lautenbrunnen and take the train up to Wengen. Either stay on the train to the Kleinerscheidegg or take the Manlichenbahn about a 5 minute walk in Wengen.

IMO for a day trip, Grindelwald side is the way to go...

Second that. Park at the Grindelwald Grund railway station from where the trains take you directly up to Kleine Scheidegg or use the cable car from the other end of the carpark to start skiing from the Mannlichen area.

Forget about train, it's very slow and goes once per hour. Park in the huge underground parking in Grindelwald Terminal and take cable car either to Eigergletcher or Männlichen.

Thank you. We did exactly this today. Parked at Grindelwald Terminal, after that took 15min with what they claim is the most modern tricable gondola in the world, and we were on top at Eigergletcher. Kids ski for free on Saturday, when parents buy tickets. It was a good day.
