I'm tempted by this offer. A bit of a drive from Zug thought, but good variety.
I'm keen to know what others think.

Arosa Lenzerheide, LAAX and Davos Klosters,
Three free days in the Titlis Engelberg ski area and free bike transport in summer! https://www.topcard.info/en/ |

I've had the family version for few years. For a 1 week ski holiday obviously not worth it, but it is very good value if you also do a few weekends in addition.
For single person, you need to ski:
- 3 x 7 days, or
- about 15 individual ski days,
- or the way I looked at it, one full week + every other Saturday
(maybe you should check my math...)
It is even better if you add summer activities. We also go mountain biking and hiking, so we sometimes get our money's worth even before the skiing season starts!
This season we got to bypass the very long opening night queue at minus 12 degrees at the Lenzerheide light ride night sledging!
In Laax you get access to the premium function in the app (not sure what real benefit that brings apart from showing more detailed lift queue info). Also some one-off offers like bring a friend who gets 20% lift discount for the day, and some discounts on local merch.
But in any case the 3 ski areas are really some of the best ski areas in this part of Switzerland.

We are family of 5.
Past Monday in Davos we paid
Fr.233.- for 2 adults and 3 children for 1 day skiing.
Fr.2600.- / Fr.233.- = circa 12 day visits as a family.
Plus inspiration to spend more time in the mountains.

The more kids you have the better the deal.
What specific opinions are you looking for besides the $$$ ?

For a family of 5 that is a great deal, and 3 free days in Engelberg Titlis is a right closer here.
For a family of 2 that wouldn't make sense in 2020 (obviously). For the past Summer 2020 and Winter 20202/2021 season I did my best but failed to spend even 1000 CHF for ski lifts and transportation (but I have a Leisure Travelcard a.k.a. Ausflugs-Abo, that saves a lot for long and daily return trips). In 2021 it (hopefully) shall be different, but I would expect a larger discount for taking risks now.
Although, if I could be somehow adopted and count as "Children from 18-35 years"... for 295 CHF/year that would be a bargain.
Also, when calculating daily price vs price of the abo, it is always good to consider, that for a long-term stay the numbers are vastly different. E.g. for 1 day in Arosa you pay 84CHF for skipass and for a week you pay 417 CHF (59.5 CHF/day). So, if you are going to take a couple of long vacations rather than going in the mountains every 2nd weekend, then to family pass for certain resort may be a better choice. Also, sometimes bundle deals for hotels with a skipass may be quite lucrative, especially for long stay.

Yep, that's why I said 3x7 days or 15 individual days. Good point about the bundle deals. Davos hotels usually includes a free ski pass if you go before X-mas.
2020 should have been a difficult year with the pass. I did not renew it as usual in April last year, but they extended the deadline for the discounted ticket until July, so that we could make a better guess about how the year was going to pan out. So I waited until around June and as soon as I saw that mountain biking and hiking was going to have a normal season, and they started including some sort of lockdown insurance/refund, so I renewed. I still managed 25 ski days, but the wife and kids got around 10-15 only. It was still worth it though.
Also, all 3 resorts restricted the number of day tickets this year whilst there were were no restrictions for season pass holders. We also started skiing later at around 11am to avoid the crowds at the bottom, and I thought it was nice not to feel like I need to have a full day's worth of skiing to squeeze every worth out of the day ticket.

The Magic Pass is Fr.1605 for the whole family (2 adults, 3 children). Offer expires in 2 days.
Ignoring the fact where I live - what is better value?
Magic Pass (40 ski areas) vs - Davos/Arosa/ Laax card?

I don’t know the Ski areas of the Magic Pass, so can’t really comment on them.
The topcard gives you access to 3 large ski resorts + Engelberg. When I first moved to Switzerland I liked to explore all the different ski resorts no matter how small or big. But now I like big resorts because I like big long ski runs, plus some variety for the family too. And you can still ski there even during dry winters.

I only know 2 resort from the Magic pass resorts, link bellow. I haven't heard the others. https://www.magicpass.ch/en/ski-resorts/
I know Saas Fee and Glacier 3000. They are also much far away from Zug.
Although more expensive, I'm leaning towards the Davos/Arosa/ Laax card.
