Verbier this weekend: how to access pistes given current lift closures & restrictions

I'm hoping a Verbier local/regular can help me out here.

I plan to ski in Verbier this Saturday. In normal times I would simply drive to Le Châble first thing in the morning and take the cable car to Verbier (it opens at 8:40) then take Medran 1 or 2 to the ski area. (I recharge my pass online to avoid queuing.) But according to the Verbier website:

Quote:
The closure of Médran 1 added to capacity restrictions on Le Châble-Médran cabins create important queues.

For these reasons, the access to Médran 2 from the place de Médran will not be authorized before 10 am or more depending on the number of people.
In any case, we strongly recommend that you take the Mayentzet chairlift via the additional shuttles to the crossroads at any time.
I can't find info about additional shuttles on the website, so I'm not sure what to expect in Verbier. I am generally keen to hit the slopes as early as possible, I am not enthused with the idea of waiting until well after 10:00 to start heading up the hill.

Does anyone have experience with the additional shuttles to the Mayentzet chairlift (e.g. where do they leave from, and at what frequency), or have any advice on how to hit the slopes as early as possible? Should I park in Verbier itself?

Thanks!

BN
