Antigen is all that is required. You could also do a PCR of course but not required.

Hope it cools down for you before your trip. It is obnoxiously warm at the moment there.
Thanks! Those temperatures are way out of the ordinary.

Re: USA Seattle Summer Holiday Travel with my spouse and son (non US citizens)

Received this clarification from SWISS for a flight in a few days:

Quote:
All passengers older than 2 years of age must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID Viral AntiGen, NAAT, RT-LAMP, RT-PCR or TMA test result, taken within 3 days before departure.

In addition, passengers must present two printed copies of the health attestation.
All passengers including children older than 2 years must wear a face mask on board flights to the USA.

Re: USA Seattle Summer Holiday Travel with my spouse and son (non US citizens)

Good to know. I've got my antigen test set up nearby...at a cost of SFr. 20 for the certificate. You pay around SFr. 80 for that at the airport.

My BA flight to Seattle was cancelled so now I'm flying with Icelandair with a layover in Reykjavik. Had to pay SFr. 300 more but it's still cheaper than my usual summer flights, although I have a layover of 30 minutes on my return flight. Good thing I booked with no time constraints in Switzerland on my way back over.

A 30-minute layover in Reykjavik is not awful, it just means no time to shop. Silly way for the airline to plan if you ask me. Arrivals are on one level of the building and departures on the other. It's one terminal and not that many gates.

Enjoy your trip!
