Entering Italy - vaccinated

Hi all,

Hoping somebody else has been through the same situation, otherwise I'll contact the Italian authorities.

We're going to Italy on 13th July for a wedding, staying for 4 days. We are both fully vaccinated (including the 2 weeks) and received the vaccines in Switzerland. We should receive our vaccine certificates this week.

It seems the EU has not formally recognised Switzerland's vaccine certificates yet. Does anybody know if they are sufficient for Italy, or is a test required?

We will be entering and staying in Tremezzo (near Como), so very close to the border.
