Yeah, but maybe he doesn't know that. Better to be safe than sorry? Just guessing as he hasn't answered.

I used to think as a teenager that an "anti-semite" was a more generic term meaning against anti semitic peoples - so including arabs. It is one of those words that doesn't mean what it says on the tin.

No I知 not anti-muslim, not anti-semite. I知 not a Christian either, as I certainly don稚 agree with their happy-crappy dogma.

But I do object to the methods used to slaughter animals. There might have been reasons why in deepest darkest history, but not today. Just like there were good reasons not to eat shellfish and pork, but those are ancient history.

Would have avoided all the fuss then to say you were a vegetarian.

Yes I’m an ass but the assumption that the bolt to the brain is a humane end is rubbish. I used to be in and out of abattoirs of the irish meat Barron when I was a teenager and the line doesn’t stop if the bolt is successful or not. Time is money. I’ve seen cattle still alive dragged to the next station and chopped up alive legs first.

Thinking back to those days I think I will become a vegetarian.

Slaughtering animals when we don't need them for food isn't humane full stop.
