Apologies firstly if I'm posting this in the wrong place, please forgive me, I'd be happy for direction!

We're looking for a family living in the Interlaken Region who would like to swap their home for our Central London apartment late this coming summer.

I've built a web site to advertise OUR HOME ,to introduce us to those like minded people who, in this time of 'crunch', would like to visit London on a budget.

I'm happy to answer any questions either here on this thread, via PM or if you'd like to use the contact facility on the website.

I'm at a loss as to what exactly to put here, so perhaps questions would be better.

A nice website that you have with your home. I hope that you get some takers for your swap.

Now is not really the time to be selling up in England so your idea makes good sense.

I have considered this with my home in Hastings but it is still undergoing some renovation so would not be really suitable at present. Maybe later.

Yes it's a great idea, but it's been an incredible amount of work!

The idea was it would be a budget deal to keep costs as low as possible, however, when we came to advertise our home we soon realised that the only people winning from this method of travel are the sites that cost the earth to advertise on!

We simply can't afford to advertise on several boards hoping to get a hit.

Ideally we'd like to find as much information as possible about free advertising locally in the Interlaken Region and to be able to reach other people for whom this idea would make sense to financially.

So, re the above, any help, hot tips or ideas welcomed!

such a shame our holidays don't coincide this year, we are going to be away the whole of July and most of the first week of August. Could have been great.

I am looking out for someone to come in from the 6th of July till the 6th August and the only requirements would be to collect my mail and feed / put up with our snotty,wheezy temperamental old cat.

Oh, should probably put in the fact that we live approximately half an hour by car (mine would be available ) from Interlaken, with good connections by train of course. I had a look on your website and think we fill all the criteria excepting wheelchair bound Gran. Mind you, the stairs aren't too bad here, so even that could be a consideration, if Gran wouldn't mind piggy backing ten steps or so....

I've been moved in here and don't seem to be getting any more views *humph* I did explain to the Admin that this isn't an advertisement for housing as such, but a holiday exchange, but, alas, it has fallen on deaf cyber ears!

Anyway as I said in my initial post, I'd be grateful to anyone who has an ideas how to get us moving.

We've been offered an incredibly kind housing solution for late July and early August so we're still looking for mid to late August.....
