Re: Dungeons and Dragons anyone?

Dammit, I was just trying to join this D&D site but they have this crazy security system that's impossible to pass.

Does my mum count?

With me and many others the question is more stupid: What is the name of your 1st character?
Well for me is easy, all my characters are some how related to each other :P

Re: Dungeons and Dragons anyone?

Just came across this topic and all I have to say is WOW!

I've used to be an hardcore player long ago and just yesterday (in front of a shop selling D&D stuff/dice) I was telling my GF how much I miss meeting with friends and playing D&D

To be honest I almost forgot everything but if someone is playing and accepting a new(bie) player in Zurich I would be more than glad to know and join... maybe I can corrupt you with Italian food :P?

Lethe.

Re: Dungeons and Dragons anyone?

I'm in St Gallen, but would be keen to help start up a group in Zurich.
Anyone got the new DnD essentials Red Box?

Re: Dungeons and Dragons anyone?

Hey all!
I was searching for an RPG store in Basel and ran into this topic. So I saw there's a D&D group already formed in Basel. Although I'm leaving for vacation ATM, I'd like to know is there any posibility for me to participate after I return in mid-January?
Haven't played D&D for quite some time now, and I forgot most of the rules, but I'd love to give it a go.
I had more recent experience with World of Darkness (Vampire) so if there's anyone playing that, please give me a shout.
Cheers,
Anta

I didn't play D&D for years but I would be interested in a Zürich group.
I don't have the Red box but I do have bit's and pieces (various dice etc.) that might help....

Re: Dungeons and Dragons anyone?

I would join a group in Zurich area. If we are about 5, I would look for a red box.

Depending on the day/time, I'd be interested in a Zürich-based group too ...

Then I propose a meeting for potential players Friday evening in Zurich. A couple of drinks might help us to find a path to thievery or paladinhood

Re: Dungeons and Dragons anyone?

Hey Angela -

I'm about to watch my last remeining shred of dignity (?) street cred (?) disappear, is there room for one more in Basel?

I should warn you I'm a complete noob, but would love to tag along and give it a go... Not sure what this does for my geek/nerd credentials, but I was a big Warhammer fan back in the [ahem, not so distant] day.

Cheers.
