Can anyone recommend a good Christmas Markets to visit in Christmas week? Most people I ask suggest going to one of the big German towns.

Would like to spend a good few days there so any suggestions with good days to go would be appricated.

The most beautiful Christmas Market that I've saw is in Nürnberg!

I "warmly" recommend it!

Nürnberg is the most famous, but I prefer some of the ones in
smaller towns.

Regensburg or Bamberg are really nice!

I've never been there but thanks for the "tip" ! I must say, thou, that the hot wine in Nurnberg is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery good! (and I am a big wine drinker)

Or in the Elzass (France 30 min. from Basel) are some beautiful ones in Colmar and Strassbourg.

I've been two years ago in Einsiedeln. For my taste, is pretty "poor". I did't "feel" actually THE Christmas atmosphere.
