best spas in Switzerland?

I have to suggest a spa to a (very demanding) friend of mine... Any tips? The best of the best would be her cup of tea
Thank you

Re: best spas in Switzerland?

My favorite - Bad Ragaz. 1 hr drive from Zurich. General public can float around in their pools / sauna for affordable day pass.

Fuesiesberg (spelling?) on lake Zurich - very nice, close, outrageously expensive.

Scuol Engadine, take car train tunnel from Klosters. Very nice and affordable.

Asia Spa in SihlCity. In Zurich.

Re: best spas in Switzerland?

Bar Ragaz, splash out and stay in the new Spa Suites, took the wife to celebrate our 10th and had a great weekend. Even got to play the PGA golf course as well.

Re: best spas in Switzerland?

I went to Wartherhof near Voralberg a few years ago. It's one of the best, but of course, it's in Austria.

Re: best spas in Switzerland?

Not sure if it will be well tailord to one's individual needs in terms of large entertainment area and massage facilities but I found this little mini spa quite attractive: Help!! its a dark day indeed :(

Reactivating this thread to ask for new opinions on the subject.
Considering the current season, I would like to add "what are the best spas in winter?"

www.leukerbad.ch alpentherme, has a bit of everything and an amazing view too. Vals spa is lovely but the surroundings are pretty dull

Scuol, without a doubt.

Combined with a visit to the Hotel Belvedere, which has its own in-house spa and is just sooooo nice......

Special requirement

My wife only attends mixed Spas (i.e. everyone naked in Sauna and Pool).

Are all those listed above compliant with her requirement?

Thanks in advance

Re: best spas in Switzerland?

A Roman-Irish spa sounds like an interesting concept. I assume this means pools are filled with a mixture of Guinness, whiskey and wine and people amble about in togas with shamrock patterns while telling leprechaun stories in Latin.

rusty, you're right about the guinness and whiskey but wrong about the togas.
You wander from station to station with just your shamrock showing.

been there , done that.

and let me tell ya.. that cold dip pool... does nothing for the luck of the Irish.

What have I done before, Mrs Raincookie? Ambling in a toga, telling leprechaun stories in Latin or dipped naked (without a shamrock) in a mixed-spa?
