Renting a diesel car in France

Hi Everybody
I am realy happy to be with you as a new member in this forum

I am planning to visit France, Switzerland and Austria. So, I am thinking of hiring a car for 18 days tour that countries. But, as you know laws differ from our country. I will be glad if you help me telling the most important things that deserve to be in mind when hiring and driving cars in Europe(this first)

Second, I could not find where to find a diesel car. I did many searches in the net but with no use.

Thank you in advance for co-operation

Europe is pretty advanced.... you can find diesel cars in the same places you can find petrol cars.

P.S. Just noticed your location.... here's a tip. Fuel costs real money out here. Petrol or Diesel.

First, although Europe is a very advanced continent, but i really did not find where to rent a diesel car at least in the internet website. My be This is because there is a big demand for diesel cars!!.

Second, I have been in Europe many times and I know how feul is expensive. But i am looking for diesel because it lasts longer.
