Re: Air Shows

If you haven't done it I would recommend you go once to the AXALP airshow in the alps in October 12/13. It's just Swiss AF but is held at 2250m altitude and is spectacular but is prone to weather cancellation.

FYI there's an airshow in Lausanne today thru Sunday. A demonstration over port d'Ouchy tonight 7-8pm.

I never can seem to know about these in advance until I hear planes overhead.
I just posted this info under 'Events'. The airshow is cancelled this evening due to the weather. This is what the website states:

La démonstration de ce soir (vendredi 26 août 2011), qui devait avoir lieu à Ouchy, est annulée pour cause météorologique.

Aree with the above, Axalp is worth going to at least once.

Also there is a small airshow in Val-de-Travers, Motiers.

Website for european airshows. This is a good link to keep handy, as it links to the shows own websites, and is constantly updated.
