A spiritual trip to "La pierre de la paix"

Now that the weather seems to be on the up may I suggest a trip on the Balcon du Jura Vaudois to experience this amazing stone which is on the Chasseron mountain.
It is a marvellous granite stone which is engraved with 7 religious symbols - Christianity, Hindu, Taoism, Judaism, Islamic, buddhiam and one is for non nominated religions. The energy in the stone gives more energy (bovis) than the Cathedral of Chartres. You must place your hands on the stone , close your eyes and visualise the colours of the stone. You can do the walk from Vuiteboeuf if you are really fit as there are several small stones on the way, otherwise you can park quite near to the top of the Chasseronand walk the last part by foot. There is a hotel/restaurant for a meal and the views from the top are outstanding.
Some people really feel the energypassing through their bodies and swear that it has released negative thoughts, lifted depression etc.

DO you have a web site for this? I tried a Google search but did not come up with anything in English & my French is rubbish these days. Your post has intrigued me.

Also you say a walk from the car park, how long is the walk as next week an elderly mother will be visiting.

Oh dear me Lou. The Old Age Pensioners like me knock spots off you youngsters in Googling. First no knowledge of the leather trade in Northamptonshire now she cannot find the Peace Stone . Tut, Tut, Tut.

PS - I googled the literal translation of the French and just hoped for the best. 'peace stone Jura'.

The walk from the carpark is on a very steep gradient but I did notice that there were a couple of cars outside the Hotel, so maybe you can just continue on the road that goes to the hotel.

For those who visit I must point out that when you are at the Hotel at the top there are no signs to the stone. I asked a couple of people and they did not know what I was talking about and a lot of visitors are there for the views and to have lunch. If you look at the hotel you have to walk about 150 metres to the left.
