Catered chalets?

Some friends and I are investigating renting a chalet for a week this February, either in Arosa or Verbier. We've seen lots of self-catered options, but we're intrigued by the idea of a catered chalet. Does anyone have suggestions on websites that list catered chalets for weekly rental?

Thank you in advance!

Arosa is too small for a whole week of skiing. Go to Verbier.

Here's a website that I've used for self-catered chalets, but they have catered chalets on there as well. Have fun!

Depends on budget perhaps too. Première Neige has great catered chalets in St Foy Tarentaise (near Val d'Isère) - small but very pretty resort, with great off-piste.

If you want to ski Verbier, but on a cheaper budget, have a look at Nendaz or Veysonnaz next 2 valleys (but with esay skiing to Verbier and MtFort).

Booked well in advance yes, however my brother & his family booked a whole chalet 3 years running in Verbier over Children's half term in February. Booked in January 30-50% off list price.

When I lived in London I always used to book on the Friday afternoon for the Saturday. Including flights, food & insurance I never paid more than £249, sometimes just £99. List price was £750 or more, it was always rather amusing to look at people's reaction if they asked how much you paid!

Thanks to all for your help. Yes, it's expensive, but it never hurts to look, just in case a deal comes along. Do folks recommend booking early or waiting a bit? Thanks again...

Re: Catered chalets?

I'm not biased as my main ski location is Wildhaus (too small for more than 2 days consecutive skiing) but I will vouch for Arosa on this one. I was surprised that it could keep me entertained for a week. It tends to be that the faster you ski, the sooner you get bored of a location, but Arosa manages a lot bettered than many of the small ski locations in East Switzerland. It's also reasonably priced and doesn't have the cheesy St. Moritz feeling or the commercial Flims/Laax experience.

I like the idea of catered apartments, we only had bread and dairies delivered each morning. Never late either...
