New Blackberry delivers WiFi & VoIP capabilities

One for all the CrackBerry addicts out there. A new handset has been announced for launch which will give the business user access to corporate mail systems & VoIP via WiFi, as well as the traditional bearers ... also includes support for Micro SD : heres the sources -

Oh great, less excuses for not reading work email on my time . Might make surfing a bit easier though.

Re: New Blackberry delivers WiFi & VoIP capabilities

Looks good. Not sure of it makes that much of a difference.

Presumably the Wifi is for voice calls - it's good for emails, but you can't do much browsing with it, so i'll stick to my laptop.

Has anyone got thoughts on the Blackberry Storm, been getting a lot of mixed reviews?

Go ahead with your N96 purchace. The UMA feature in the BlackBerry can't be used with any Swiss operators anyway:

http://www.umatoday.com/operators.php

Actually the native VOIP feature in Nokia phones can be used on any WiFi connection, and Nokia has very good VOIP support. Altho I don't see the N96 on the list of phones with native VOIP, so you may want to check the user guide, or opt for a N95...

oops, just noticed this thread is 2 years old :-/
