| | What's worth watching/recording on UK TV over Xmas/New Year 2010/2011
For the first time since we had all the BBCs and ITVs etc available in Switzerland, I find myself at home here this year with a dish and Humax Freesat box and big wall-mounted LED TV.
So what is worth watching? Are there any 'must see' films etc.??

The internet has killed Christmas for me (I just, right now, decided) - as I can now just go to radiotimes.com, refine by movie and day and see what's on. Christmas was the one time of the year when we got all of the guides and by God they survived the season, though barely. In tatters after two weeks' constant use.
aaaanyway... I'm going to be watching the Royle Family on Christmas night. Must-see TV for me.

We went through them systematically circling all the films we wanted to see, then ended up arguing about those that clashed.

The Royle family to me is always screamingly funny...I think there's a Christmas day episode.
