SIM Card?

I am moving to Switzerland in a month and I plan to buy a sim card.
I am from the US and have never used one so I really don't know how they work.

What companies are the best to buy from and prices?
I plan to buy a pre-paid card when I get to Switzerland.

I want to be able to call my family and friends while I am in Switzerland.

The rates of Lebara Mobile here is very reasonable

Calling CH to US is just 0.09 Chf/ min
