Fox HD Free Sat Box

Does anyone else use one of these to get UK TV?
If so, do you ever get the sound disappearing after you change channel ... and the only way to get it back is a re boot?

Is it a bug or have I got a faulty machine?
Cheers

Sounds like a faulty connection, all audio cables or scart cables well connected? try to change the cables, a new scart cable can help.

Are you using it for the paid Uk channels or the Free ones on Astra 2?

I use my beloved now 10 year old Atlanta, still works like a charm

Freeby channels ...
No scart just an HDMI cable

Do that make a difference?

Mine is 10 years old, Hdmi was not around then.. but try it with a Scart cable, see if you have the same problems.

If it works well , replace the Hdmi cable.. scart cables are cheaper so easier to buy and do the test with.

I've never had a glimmer of a problem, though switching to HD channels from SD causes a second or two delay. But this could be the Sony TV.

Can you try another HDMI cable and another HDMI socket on the TV?
