Swisscom HD channels not working

Recently seen my HD channels (bbc1 hd and itv1 hd) are not working. I get a "no signal received" error. Also the HD films are not showing for download/demand.

Anyone had this problem before I start the painful process of calling the call centre?

Re: Swisscom HD channels not working

Was working fine for us last night, but our Swisscom HD box is a little twitchy at the moment, it needs rebooting about half the time we switch it on.

Re: Swisscom HD channels not working

Could be that your internet connection speed is borderline. When I first got Swisscom TV about a year ago, I had maybe 5 HD channels, but I never really watched them. Then somewhere along the way they disappeared. i called Swisscom, and they said to recieve HD channels, you need a min of 20Mbps downlink connection. I looked in my modem, and I was only getting 16Mbps (Swisscom also could check remotely and told me the same thing while I was ont he phone with them).

So log into your modem and check, it's on the first page after you log in. To log in, type the IP address into a web browser, probably something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 and then type your user name and password. If you don't know what's your user/pw, ask Swisscom when you call them.
