Notebook Broken... Need Some Suggestions

Hi everyone,
Just as i start looking for work my notebook decided to die and i was wondering if anyone had some information or positive experiences in dealing with a Zurich city notebook repairer?
Im hoping to turn the hard drive into a external hard drive and would like to know costs involved.

Thankyou very much for your time

I did this when my laptop died, and it was surprisingly easy. I just bought a hard drive enclosure (2.5 inch, USB) which cost about 8 EUR I think. Literally a couple of minutes with a screwdriver (really easy) and it was done, plugged in and I could read everything from it.

Of course I can't say whether that'll work for you, you don't give any hints what kind of "dying" was involved so maybe your hard drive is broken.
