Issues with mobile network

Is anyone else having issues with their mobile network today?

Both myself and wife are getting very sporadic reception with Lebara mobile, both of us in different locations.

Also, our Sunrise 3G internet is simply not connecting.

I cannot see any information on the websites, I shall give them a call soon.

Yes, my partner and I have both had problems with Sunrise mobile network this morning. Mine seems to be working now although hers is still out.

I'm on sunrise for mobile and I turned off the data traffic and switched to gsm only and now it's working. But I can't connect to my web banking on my computer, with Swisscom...

Re: Issues with mobile network

It seems like the article is correct - Basel (OP), Geneva (me), Bern and Ticino affected.

Re: Issues with mobile network

Interesting... woke up this morning (Lausanne) and had no service (voice or net) with Sunrise. Said something along the lines of "SIM unable to connect to this network." After 30 seconds of puzzling over it, I yanked the battery and SIM out of my HTC and rubbed the SIM contacts on my sleeve. After reassembly and bootup, everything worked.

Judging from these posts, I now think it was coincidental timing and it would've reconnected anyway... after Sunrise pulled their (&#)#@ out of their (#%))(@...

Re: Issues with mobile network

Only the 3G network is affected. Restart phone without 3G mode and it should work. BTW it isn't just Sunrise with the problem, Swisscom 3G seems to be down too. Hubby and I am on the Sunrise network and have had no problems at all.

Re: Issues with mobile network

Lebara do not have a network as such, they use the Sunrise network.
Problems with Sunrise will also mean problems with Lebara...

Re: Issues with mobile network

I couldn't possibly. But what I will say is be very careful of buying into a contract with them via a third party, who will remain nameless. The CEO though was very helpful. A big thank you to him.
