You need to share your EXISTING wireless broadband ( eg Cablecom CHF49 a month ) with Fon in order to entice a ( usually travelling ) 3rd party to pay and use your wireless broadband connection.

I wouldn't bother.

Re: Doest anyone work with Fon Hotspot ! it looks pretty good deal?

I am one of the first FON subscribers in Spain (where the idea was generated). There, although the idea is/was very cool, not many people use it. I've had a hotspot for about 6-7 years now and I think noone has connected to it yet... And I live quite near a hotel, in a town center of a turistic area. Not many neighbours, though.

However, I used FON connections in different countries such as the UK, Japan and Korea, but you can't really go somewhere and think you'll have internet in these places.

You can only use remote FONs without paying if you're sharing your current connection for free (same for others).

Anyway, the router is a good deal for the price and it seem to be growing in many places (in some countries they have agreements with big public Wireless providers, which can be an advantage).

Google about it and take your pick.
