Satellite Dish that isn't

While mooching round Mediamark in Sihlcity the other day I came across a strange device that replaces a dish and LNB.

It is white, rectangular and very heavy - I nearly dropped it picking up the box. On the box is says in English that it does everything a dish does for CHF199.

But what is it and how does it work? I tried Google, but even googling 'satellite dish replacement rectangular thing' got me nowhere.

I'd like to know if it will guarantee me Eastenders though the August monsoons better than my 60cm dish...
