Cablecom - above and beyond.

Yesterday I posted a thread about a flaw in the online accounts portal security at Cablecom.
Later that evening I asked for the thread to be deleted because I did not want it to be exploited, and Cablecom Senior Executives had reacted very positively that evening. Over the next 18 hours we spent time troubleshooting the issue together and the underlying cause was an eye opener for me, in terms of Proxy Security and seemingly innocuous domain name changes.

The Cablecom team, 9 of them , working around the clock with myself (a little) both isolated and fixed the issue at hand. I am mightily impressed with this behind the scenes dedication and professionalism.

All's well that ends well.

No, a combination of Proxy setup and recent domain name change, plus session handling by the web server. Efforts needed on the client and on the server side to remediate.
