Hi folks,

I was just wondering if any EF folk out there has any experience with a good reliable HiFi repair shop/person. I've got two Electrocompaniet amplifiers and one pre-amp that will need to have a fair few hours spent on them to get them back to working order.

I'm based in Neuchâtel, so would be brilliant if I could get someone close by, but would be willing to travel if I can get someone that comes highly recommended.

If no-one can suggest that, then can anyone point me in the direction of someone that builds analogue amplifiers? I know one man, but he's in North France, so maybe a little closer than that.

Try www.schopper.ch . They are based in Winterthur and I have dealt with them and they are extremely helpful.
They would be able to help but might be able to suggest someone nearer.

That looks like a very nice shop. Lots of good talk of analogue on the website, so gets my audiophile self feeling very giddy. Will be going to Zurich next week, might try and get through and see them.
