c | | | | | I have never in my life, I repeat NEVER seen a better laptop deal (I know, if it looks too good to be true... but you never know). My order has been confirmed so hopefully it will follow through... and I advise anyone looking for a good laptop, with a UK address they can get it delievered to, to buy one asap, because that is not only the latest Intel Sandy Bridge processor, but the graphics card is also a respectable mid-range one that will handle some gaming on medium details with the latest titles.
Mind-bogglingly cheap, for that money are laptops a third or less of the spec. Yes, warranty is UK-based, but for the money you seriously can't complain, and Dell are pretty damn reliable. Hope it comes in useful to some of you, because it's doubtful you'll see a deal like it again... I just hope it's not a pricing error and that it gets fulfilled, but if not... nothing lost I guess.

Unfortunately, I don't see an option to add OS X to it... | This user would like to thank Corbets for this useful post:

It's a massive bargain... I have to suspect they are dumping faulty Sandybridge motherboards on the Market...
EDIT
They've rumbled it.... "We're sorry, but we are unable to process your request to configure the identified product.

I doubt they would be dumping faulty mobos onto the market though! | Quote: | | | | | was it really such a good deal? i saw it but didn't really feel compelled to buy. maybe cos i don't need a laptop. but i guess would be good for someone who doesn't already have one. | | | | | Yes, it was that good a deal (literally stonkingly good), but no, I guess if you don't need a laptop then you would probably not be compelled to buy. | Quote: | | | | | Unfortunately, I don't see an option to add OS X to it... | | | | | Hackintosh? |

looks like one of those common tricks that companies do to increase traffic to their website.
stick up a unreal deal, let word get around and then cancel it, and hope people buy something else. seen a few where they have misplaced the decimal point on prices etc..

I just thought i'd post it here on the off chance some EF'ers got lucky. Nothing ventured nothing gained. | This user would like to thank Chuff for this useful post:
