Re: Prepaid Service of Sunrise with Blackberry ?

Sunrise prepaid with the 7.50/month surf option is quite a good deal.

However be cautious since sunrise will stiff you in an instant if they can.

Last week my credit was below 7CHF when the 7.50 subscription should have been taken. The next day my android phone used an unusual amount of data, 10MB in fact (not really that much!) however because my SURF option had gone inactive the cost was about 50CHF at 5CHF per MB(!). So now my balance 45CHF in debit and my phone is disconnected.

Sunrise wont do anything about this, though if they had allowed the 7.50SURF debit to take the balance to -0.5CHF in the first place, there would have been no further data charges.

Is it really such a good idea to screw your customers and make them move to swisscom or orange as a result?

Seems to me that Sunrise are to airwaves what Ryanair are to airways.

good luck with any Swiss provider, really :-(

Orange and Roaming

This really made me lose confidence in the Swiss mobile providers. Not even paying a massive premium for a Swisscom subscription will buy you better customer service. At this time, I can only say: go with the cheapest offer. Customer service is going to suck in any case.

Was that abroad? Normally, there's absolutely no way to owe them money on a prepaid plan - that's the whole point of prepaid?

But anyway, compared to Swisscom's tariffs, those 45 Fr. are still nothing in the long run.
