| | Swiss Cyber Bullying laws
This could well affect EF Forum users ?
Be careful of what you say online... A 19-year-old woman from St. Gallen has become
the first person in Switzerland to be convicted of
cyber-bullying after she used social networking site Facebook
to insult a man who had complained about a local nightclub's all-night parties.
If nothing else, I did learn two new insults
...oh , and I am gonna sue the ass of anyone that neg reps me. Possibly. Maybe. Nah, not really. But will someone do it to you ?

Man, nearly 1500chf for calling someone a "bloody idiot" and a "dullard"... I better get a squeezy thing to relieve stress, those "insults" are relatively tame!
All the same though, I'm sort of glad to see the Swiss judicial system (or at least that judge anyhow) come down hard even on something as slight as that, hopefully it will help curb some folks of the desire to make a habit of some of the more nasty stuff I've seen elsewhere.

For details you however have to consult your family lawyer, as I for example cannot tell you whether owners of a WEBsite can be forced to provide the identity of forum contributors, and under what circumstances.
What I however CAN tell you is that a whole troop of lawyers in Switzerland alone for a full decade have been working on laws in regard to the internet, in close conjunction with their colleagues in other European countries

Although both forms uniquely identify an individual. Insult the forum name, insult the person.

...and all I have to do is show up in court to show the Judge my head is not at all phallus shaped rendering the fact just an insult.
*Thicky !

Talk about a worthless expense of the taxpayer's money. |

| | Re: Swiss Cyber Bullying laws | Quote: | | | | | ...including them in the quote helps | | | | | It would seem that it did.
And yes I did do it on purpose. I figured that if it wasn't an error/mistake that the flanging caused by the multiple delays would make it more annoying than it already was. If it was an error then the poster would remove/correct the inclusion and I would do likewise.
Notice that I have already removed the actual link to the vid in my quote.
Oh, and thanks for noticing the helpfulness of my previous post. |
