cooling off (is that the right term?) period for cablecom tv, or online purchases?

I have a small problem with cablecom. I bought the digicard from them along with the standard subscription. Unfortunately, as it turns out the digicard does not work with my TV. Does anyone know if there is a period of time during which I can send it back? I don't even want to cancel the subscription, I just would like to get rid of the 100 CHF card I cannot use. I have already contacted cablecom, but I would like a second opinion in case they would like to abuse my lack of knowledge. TIA.
