How to hide number when calling from landline

Hi,

Maybe common knowledge, but... how can I call from my regular phone and not disclose my number?

In some countries you just dial some digits before normal number.

If that is the case, how would it work with international prefixes as well?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Depends on your landline service .. on mine ( a VOIP one ) I can disable it through a web interface.

Phone from a Natel (pre-paid or normal), easy to block that.

Mine is hooked to my land-line account so that I pay the same as if using my land line (while phoning from within CH)

*31* then the number (with or without an international dialling code) and then a #

Not sure if the # at the end is strictly necessary. Test both by calling yourself on your cellphone first to see.
