Anyone have Cablecom Power Combi?

We are thinking of changing from Swisscom to Cablecom and getting the Power Combi package but have some questions. I have asked Cablecom, but am still awaiting their reply (oh dear, what does that tell me!).

1) On the monthly invoice, are the charges actually broken down by service (i.e Inetrnet = CHF xx, TV = CHF yy, etc) or is it all just grouped together under one Power Combi amount (e.g. CHF 99). The reason I ask is my Internet bill is paid by another, and for that they need to see it broken out on the invoice. (Swisscom break it out and state "Internet = CHF49" etc.)

2) Is the installation CD available in English or just French, German, etc.? The web site seems to show lots of languages, but none English.

3) How many multi media connectors are provided in the package. Can I have my TV box connected to the wall socket on one floor, and the telephone + Internet wifi box connected to a wall socket on a different floor?

If you can help with any / all of these, it's be much appreciated.

1) Yes
2) Don't bother with the CD. It's useless. (What do you need to install ? Use any generic Broadband optimiser if running XP or lower ). Your OS should DHCP automatically, else , if wireless, the SID and password are on the bottom of the Tomson router)
3)Yes, but you might have to pay extra for another wall plate adaptor and VOIP router. Only one is included.

Thanks very much Upthehatters2008.
Can you tell me with the Power Combi, what the Internet price is as broken out on the bill? The whole package is CHF99, so I am assuming CHF 40 to CHF 50.

Cheers.

Re: Anyone have Cablecom Power Combi?

I just wanted to add that you will have to pay extra for a telephone listing in the directory if you want one. We have cancelled all our Swisscom lines, for which a directory listing was included. We also have the option of keeping our old number or using the new one.

Edit: added the link to the directory I was referring to.

Anyone have Cablecom Power Combi?

Please can any one also confirm that it has BBC Cbeebies on it. When Cablecom sent us a brochure it only had CBBC and not CBeebies, yet on the web it shows "BBC4 / CBeebies" (Whatever that means? Are they combined?)

Thanks.

I can't comment on Cablecom but on Freeview in the UK BBC4 and CBeebies are broadcast on the same channel as CBeebies ends transmission for the day at 7pm and BBC4 starts at 7pm.

I entered the listing details myself, no charge

www.search.ch, anyone can enter there details

Yes it does. BBC4 begins on that channel once CBeebies has finished broadcasting (7pm)
