short-term broadband options in Zurich -- wireless providers?
Hi,
I've just moved into an apartment in Zurich, and want some sort of broadband access that doesn't involve looking for other people's open wireless networks. However, I only expect to be in this apartment for 3 months (although I'll be in Zurich for longer), which seems to rule out any of the ADSL or cable offerings that all seem to have a 12-month contract.
So I was looking around for wireless broadband options. So far, I've only found Swisscom NATEL (hideously expensive for daily/permanent use) and Sunrise "T@KE-AWAY", which seems reasonable but also has a 12-month minimum contract. I can live with that, but when I do move in a few months I'd prefer to get cable or ADSL than be stuck on a wireless contract.
So the question that I'm coming to is: are there any other wireless broadband providers worth considering, or is there any way to get a broadband for a shorter time period?
I noticed that both Swisscom and Sunrise are HSPDA networks; in Sydney there were other network technologies being marketed as iBurst and Unwired, is there anything similar here that I've missed?
Thanks for any advice,
Andrew
