Bluetooth Techies

I have looked all over the related thread and cannot find an answer. I am looking for a blue tooth that will work with a Blackberry Bold. I can get one at Swisscom for about 150. chf that works with the phone, my question is do I have to get one that only goes with this particular phone? Or can I pick one up at like Mediamarkt or Interdiscount that will work with any phone... and is the quality the same? Thanks for any advice

Bluetooth what ?

Microphone, keyboard, GPS receiver ? There are many Bluetooth accessories, can you be more specific ?

As it stands, Bluetooth is a broad standard, and any compliant Bluetooth accessory should work with any Bluetooth compatible phone.

Re: Bluetooth Techies

Sorry, as you can see I am electronically challenged here and didn't even know there were any other kinds of blue tooths.. I am looking for a ear piece blue tooth. I see a Java works with the Blackberry, and the phone is compatible to blue tooth. Not so much worried about the price as I am about getting a good quality that will work with this or at least most blackberries. THX

I have used Plantronics, and they were reliable and good quality...
They are around 80CHF, in stock everywhere. ("Plantronics Voyager PRO")
Digitec.ch have them.
