| Hey all
Currently have a swisscom fixed line and standard dsl as swisscom only go upto 4 mb/s in reinach I found out about a company called InterGGA that offer upto 60mb/s for very good rates through Breitband.ch but:
1) how this works, do you need some sort of other equipment to get this?
2) does anyone have any experience using this service?
3) from the website, it seems that you can simply cancel at one months notice?
Would plan to keep my Swisscom phone but switch Internet, but before I do just want to make sure i've checked all the fine print. In the end, swisscom is slow but reliable...
Any thoughts or experiences anyone could share?

Well, first of all you need an InterGGA / cable TV socket in your apartment. Which company do you get cable TV from?
Apart from that: you'll get a cable modem from InterGGA which you plug into the cable TV socket. If you choose to get telephone from them as well, you also plug your telephone in the cable modem.
InterGGA are more or less known for their good service. I never had them as a provider, but our neighbors in Therwil did and they never complained.
Swisscom is generally more reliable as their phone line is a dedicated line, while the TV cable is shared among all participants in your building. That said: if you can live with short outages once in a while, I wouldn't see why you shouldn't go with InterGGA for phone, internet and TV - their rates are competitive and the cable speed is excellent. Swisscom doesn't offer anything even remotely comparable in terms of performance and pricing.
According to InterGGA's ToS / AGB, the contract is for a minimum of 12 months, after which you can cancel it with one month's notice.
