Mobile Contract / Prepaid

I did a search but couldn't find anything relevant.

Having looked through all of the major contracts and prepaid tariffs, both myself and the SO (who is Swiss) are really struggling.

She's been away for a year and a half, living with me in England (something for which I apologise to her for on a daily basis). Since then, she's pretty angry over the increase in mobile costs - particularly SMS. Swisscom at the moment charge 20 cent for each text. Apparently it used to be 10.

Anyhoo, like I said, we've look through a lot of tariffs. We want something that will give us, minimum, 250 free texts either prepay or a contract under 30CHF a month.

We don't want internet. Every contract seems to include a great wedge of free data but no SMS, or a very expensive contract and very few free SMS.

Is there anything similar to the o2 deal in the UK where you just get a pay&go sim with bolt ons? E.g top up 10/20 CHF per month and get 500 free texts without paying for free calls or internet or whatever non-useful extra they put in?

Why not go to the Mobilezone shop and ask an expert? http://www.prepaidgsm.net/en/svizzera/mobilezone.html

It's been 20 from the beginning with Swisscom.

SO said they're rubbish. She went to one during her lunch break and they just tried to peddle her an Orange contract that was nothing like what we wanted.

We have her old phone bills showing the price as being 10. The tariff must not be available any more.

At the moment I'm paying 15 per SMS, and I get 25 free every 10 CHF i top up. Which is still quite rubbish.
