Re: Best Sitcom..

not on air anymore, and only aired 4 seasons, but good laugh: Coupling

'IT Crowd' is entertaining, too.

well, 'Seinfeld' is a classic.

i've seen a 'Vexed' lately, only 3 episodes yet, but not bad.

Futurama is good as a cartoon.. (from the Simpsons guy, you'll find similarities)

If you like 'Family Guy', 'American Dad' might be an option from the same person.

Coupling. Like Friends, but funny.
I loved that show...to this day I'm not even sure why I found it hilarious, but I did.

I like Community for Joel McHale. I love him for E!'s Talk Soup as, even though I never watch daytime TV, I still laughed my ass off for a good 30 mins straight. I still snicker at the memory of "Things You Can't Unsee". You get a condensed version of all the TV you'd never waste your time watching and some that you might with vicious MST3K style heckling.

The Daily Show.

Scrubs.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Spongebob for the animated side.

It's weird as I can't really think of any comedies I've bothered watching in the last few years. (Well, aside from the few I already liked and can watch on Hulu).

Re: Best Sitcom..

Some really good ones there, nice to see some of the old ones like George and Mildred and Porridge.

My fave is Spaced, shame there was only two series, definitely think it could make a comeback. Just recently got into Family Guy, so much so I have not had an early night for weeks and weeks.

Blackadder II - "And I, your jolly balladeer, am also well and truly plastered"
Blackadder the Third - "You don't know what a rotten borough is, do you, Sir"
Blackadder goes Forth - "Would that be the plan to continue with total slaughter until everyone's dead except Field Marshal Haig, Lady Haig and their tortoise, Alan?"

Gavin and Stacey....Episode 1 of Series 1 was comedy gold
Yes (Prime) Minister...some of the best comedy writing ever.

And Ittigen, Porridge is well worthy of mention

Can't believe nobody's mentioned it yet:

Two & A Half Men .... with Charlie Sheen
I would have suggested it, but I thought we were only supposed to suggest sitcoms that were funny.

It may be that a Charlie Sheen joke has massively just gone over my head... could somebody clarify this for me please?
