You should use a download from a more reputable site. If whoever you got it from told you your 3GS would support location based reminders and charged you for the update then you've been well and truly had.

The camera zoom seems to have disappeared since the update.

Other than that, not a very exiting upgrade. I was expecting a more business like lock screen with weather, stocks, upcoming meetings and stuff. | | | | | iOS 5 does that - you just need to configure it in the Notifications settings. | Quote: | | | | | The camera zoom seems to have disappeared since the update. | | | | | Still there - just accomplished by pinching now instead of bringing up a slider.

All good for my upgrade too. It kills WiFi passwords and any VPNs that you had, so make sure you have all those connection details and passwords stored somewhere other than the iPhone you're upgrading.

I've noticed safari crashing 6 times at Starbucks this morning. |

Which is theiving behaviour if you ask me.

I upgraded the day the it was available and it took me about 6 hours to get past the firewall issue and then the server overloaded with folks like me. After about 5 full back-ups cycling through the error messages I deleted all my music to speed up the process. Once I fixed the firewall and got through it worked ok. I did my wife's phone and iPad the following morning and it took 45 minutes each.
iCloud is not very useful for me, it syncs very smoothly from iOS devices but really who is creating documents for work on an iOS device ? Dropbox has nothing to fear yet.
I'm not sure what the point is to Photostream as well. Having said all that I like the upgrade and and am looking forward to upgrading my 3GS.

I've still not had my iCloud verification email, nobody else had this issue?

Just noticed cover flow in iPod/Music has got very slow and unresponsive. Annoying, one of my favourite features.

Ever since I upgraded I have problems syncing.
Wireless sync refuses to work at all and even wired sync fails often and I have to delete the "Program Data\Apple\Lockdown" folder to get it to work again.
I was so looking forward to just docking my phone of an evening and all my podcasts would be there waiting for me for my trip to work.

I get quite a few delays waking the screen up when the iPod is playing, it's really quite annoying, I press the home button once, nothing happens, maybe I didn't press it fully, so I press it again, couple of seconds later, instead of just showing me what's playing on the ipod, it starts the bloody voice control.

The tabbed Safari is all well and good, but that X is annoyingly close to the back button. I keep closing the tab with my piggy fingers.
