Your router needs to DHCP/DNS off the Motorola, do not try to assign addresses manually to other equipment if the Motorola is the DHCP server.

Re: Belkin WLAN router not working

After the device is powered on, press it to reset the device or
restore to factory default settings.

0-3 seconds: reset the device

3-6 seconds: no action

6 seconds above: restore to factory default settings (this is used
when you can not login to the router, e.g. forgot the password)

6500W has a 802.11b WLAN

Re: Billion BIPAC 6500W WLAN router cannot be accessed

i tried restoring to factory settings (pressed for more then 6 sec) the LEDs shows the router is reset but still i cant access it via ip address.
it will be really helpful if you can let me know what settings i have to configure if i am able to access the setting by chance just to setup the wifi n/w with encryption key.

Re: Billion BIPAC 6500W WLAN router cannot be accessed

I assume you are accessing the BIPAC via ethernet cable, not wireless. Your PC / laptop using the wired Ethernet cable must be assigned an IP for example 192.168.1.20 mask 255.255.255.0 manually, and then the resetted BIPAC can be accessed.

Sorry, gotta go ( will be in Basel tomorrow ).

Re: Billion BIPAC 6500W WLAN router cannot be accessed

Yes I access it with the cable when trying to access to it. By assigning the ip to laptop you mean I should assign this ip manually to LAN connection properties. Currently its set to obtain automatically

Ok i tried by assigning separate ip to my laptop and was able to access the router settings.
please find below settings for LAN, wireless, WAN(both option) after saving the configuration i am able to connect to the wireless access point setup and it shows internet connection now but when trying to access webpage it gives DNS error
what m i doing wrong here. i just need to setup wireless access point.

Re: Billion BIPAC 6500W WLAN router cannot be accessed

Try settings DNS manually:

DNS1 208.67.222.222
DNS2 208.67.220.220

and report back.

Re: Billion BIPAC 6500W WLAN router cannot be accessed

Re: Billion BIPAC 6500W WLAN router cannot be accessed

Set WAN port of BIPAC 6500W for DHCP ( obtain IP automatically ), no need PPPOE.

Ensure WAN port of BIPAC 6500W is connected by wired Ethernet cable to LAN port of the Motorola.
