ACTA expected to pass?

I was wondering if anyone in Switzerland will be concerned if the anti counterfeiting trade agreement legislation passed and how this will effect the average Swiss citizen in terms of media consumption.

Re: ACTA expected to pass?

Nope. The Federal Institute for Intellectual Property doesn't foresee the need for Switzerland to change any of its existing law.

Quote:

Hopefully that will turn out to be the case.

Re: ACTA expected to pass?

So does this really mean that nothing will change with ACTA?

I'm most concerned about point 8:

Nein, ACTA bringt keine solche Verpflichtung.

In that case there's no need to sign it. This evil treaty will open doors for the devil.
