Operation Stonehenge-what lies beneath. Just finished but you will be able to view on bbc iplayer. Fascinating to see recent archeology developments on and around the surrounding area .

A little slow to get going, but has both the dramatic and comic elements for a good 6 part series. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Zoo | | | | | I'm actually enjoying this series. I caught up on episode 3 this evening whilst OH and son were watching doctor Who which I detest but son seems to have taken a liking to.

..Unless there is a Daily Stoning Show that I'm not aware of |

Saw two episodes of the latest series of "The Walking Dead".
Haven't watched this programme since the first season but it's still excellent. |

Z Nation is a nice slant on yet another zombie fest.
Just watching the season finale of The Strain.
Going to try Madam Secretary too. And a show called Forever.
Gotham is a keeper, seen the first 2 of that. Nice and dark.

Downton Abbey-- Available on Netflix Switzerland
Couldn't understand why everyone was raving about it and how it's won so many awards but after watching the first episode, I was hooked!
Acting is superb-- it's got scandal, mystery, and great lines! |

Haven't watched this programme since the first season but it's still excellent. | | | | | My husband and I have watched it from the beginning and after the first season (if even that) we end each show with the words "My god! What an awful show!" ...and yet we still watch the next episode.
Seriously, we yell at the characters, roll our eyes at the extended dialogue and ask "why on earth did s/he do THAT?!?!?!?" - every time. We're just gluttons for punishment, I guess.

I wanted to watch from the start, but for some reason, that I now can't recall, couldn't.
Then I felt I couldn't pick it up half way through the series or the the second series, as I'd missed too much, so just gave up.
But ....... is it something you can just watch from the start of each series (like something like '24'), or is watching it dependant on having seen everything that's gone before?
As an afterthought, it's the same with Downton, too.
