A new crime series from the Beeb is The Missing.
I watched the first episode a couple of days ago and am already hooked.
The Supervet is another one, for all animal lovers out there. That man can do miracles and is good on the eye too.
Oh, and to have a laugh, try and download You cant get the staff. All about posh people and their minions. Is Lady Colin Campbell a tranny....

-become member of www.warez-bb.org
-get subscription for filesharing site like rapidgator or UL
-search for tv series on www.warez-bb.org ,look for your specific filesharing link (RG or UL)
-download the tv series in the format you prefer from the filesharing link(resolution:720P,1080P etc.)
-watch the tv series on your PC or via HDMI cable (from PC to TV) on your TV | | | | | Sounds like a lot of hassle when torrents are free and only a 1 or 2 click download

Devils advocating here: torrents are not legal in Switzerland (unless you have an absolute zero upload client).
I'm sure this hasn't stopped many

I'm sure this hasn't stopped many | | | | | True but no one is going to bother prosecuting someone that uploads about 200kb

The RTS started airing HBO's "Girls" yesterday. I've watched one episode and I already hate all of said girls. Hopefully there is some redeeming quality later on...

"Scorpion" looks like it might have possibilities. Sort of a cross between "Numbers" and "Hustle".
"Atlantis" is back again on BBC1 this coming Saturday despite the mixed reviews the first series got.

The amount of bandwidth or total upload is irrevelant. Those 200kb could help somebody reach 100% and uploading to countless other users (this is the reasoning of a prosecutor).
In Switzerland though, the privacy laws make it extremely difficult to obtain a user's identity based on their IP address. Because of this and the size of the "market", rights holders prefer to focus on other countries where they can issue broad subpoenas and obtain personal data much more easily.

Your ISP might not agree , also:
"Privacy/Risk – A minor point, but one worth mentioning. Most copyright legislation in western countries has penalties for distributing copyrighted content. People only downloading, and not ‘making available’, tend to be left alone. Torrents, due to their design, tend to require you to upload what you download. This is prone to some problems, such as being accused of distributing copyrighted content, people sniffing what you are downloading etc. By contrast, file sharing services generally have files archived, so the data being downloaded would not be easily identified. More importantly, you are only downloading, and at no stage making anything available, so there is substantially less of a legal risk."

Kudos to RTS for airing it in English with French subtitles and only a couple weeks after US air date.

Interesting discussion there re: the legal status of downloads etc...
I used to use the warez-bb / rapidshare option for a long time, with a download manager installed it's very simple.
What sites are people using now ? Is rapidshare still #1 ?

If you enjoy a bit of history and the (im)practicalities of living in the past, the latest BBC2, 5 part series, "Secrets of the Castle with Ruth, Peter and Tom" seems interesting.
Three historians/archaeologists placed in an on-going 25yr. project, in France, building a medieval castle - living and working as accurately as can be guessed, in the great European castle-building age of the 13th century.

One to avoid like the plague - Million Dollar Listings NY. Why anyone would even think of buying something from those prats is beyond me. |
