The Strain. New take on the Vampire thing set in current NY.
It does have it's slow times "oh my god my family" and the plot devices are very bad at times - Taxi driver not driving away when been attacked but gets out of car Hmmm
But I do have hope for it.

It's got a second series so it must be doing something right.
Then again far too many series get past their first ones these days when they shouldn't imho. Haven't seen any of The Strain yet so can't comment one way or another on that.

I watched the entire series of the Strain and rather enjoyed it; right up my street.
I've also watched the first episode of Z-Nation. Not sure about it yet, too early to say. I'll be forever comparing it to Walking Dead and The Last of Us (the latter is a video game, for those who don't know).

JUst finished season 1 of Arrow. The premise is good and the action is good but oh my dear god the characters are just so teenage "you heart my feeling, do you love me" more cardboard then a box of cornflakes
Thank god for VLC's Alt right arrow
Any one watched season 2 is it the same?
Also watching the Professionals season 1 excellent stuff - no feeling just action, over 30yrs older and still a mile better

We are watching "The Missing" on BBC1 with James Nesbitt. Very tense and emotional.
