Just finished the first season of Suits and really enjoying it!
I watch Suits too, love it! The only thing is that you constantly have to pay attention, otherwise you miss important details and then it can become quite difficult to follow.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

In case anyone missed it (and we nearly did) The Musketeers 2nd series started last Friday at 9pm on BBC1.

Other interesting looking ones coming up this month are:

Extant - 20th Jan on Syfy UK. Goran Visnjic of ER fame stars.
Ascension and Fortitude on Sky 1: Ascension starts on the 16th Jan and Fortitude sometime in Jan.

12th season of NCIS starts on FOX UK on Friday this week, repeated Sunday. Still one of my favourites.

Up to the mid-season break of Constantine. I like it but chances are it will be cancelled
4 episodes to catch on BBT season 8
3 episodes into Suits season 3
Gotham Season 1 not yet started
Derek Season 2 not yet started
How to Get Away with Murder not yet Started
Extent not yet started

I did my best to catch up over Christmas!

I try to stay on one season/programme at a time - Constantine took some catching up. I have Suits 3 and 4 to get through - but will throw in Gotham in the middle.

Sons of Anarchy 7 is on the back burner as the better half is 6 seasons behind and doesn't like it!!

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

Not a series, but for the motorsports fans out there do give the FIA Formula E Championships a go. Plenty of action, thrills and spills in every race so far. It's making F1 look quite staid. ITV4 do a live program on the Saturday (just finishing up now), but also do a highlight program on Sunday (without the boring stuff before and after the race) but other channels are covering it as well, depending on what system you have: BT, Sky Germany, Canal+.

Next race 14th March in Miami.

Yes, we follow the Dakar too. Real shame about the Polish motorcyclist who died recently. From the sounds of it that stage needed a serious rethink as many competitors were suffering from high levels of dehydration.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

Although we are city people, we enjoy Country File on BBC very much.

http://www.radiotimes.com/episode/dc...ds-compilation

This week's episode was a bit special, covering rare breeds of farm animals, but if you are interested in modern farming, this is for you. It isn't sentimental rubbish, it simply portrays the farmer's work and his animals on modern farms, somewhere in Britain.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

I have to say you need to watch The Fall of BBC2 which is in the type of murder/crime. The season 2 just finished few months ago.

Also, I'm waiting for the new series of Mr.Selfridge on ITV which will be reopened this Sunday. It's about fashion, history and love. Brilliant show with great actors.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

I saw that on a streaming site the other day--thought it was mistakenly placed there from movies.

How is it? It doesn't look like Gilliam has anything to do with the show. IMO his directing and style made the movie for me.

I'll have to check it out as well.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

Atlantis has been cancelled, not that it's that good a series.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/30980571

I love his last comment.

"So you have to keep creating space, you have to keep trying new things, otherwise you keep offering the audience the things they had before."

Of course the fact that the audience actually like the things they had before and want to keep them is just too bad.

Mind you, sounds like a very good reason to axe the awful Top Gear.
