Ripper street might be worth watching this evening. | | | | | Nearly missed that Belgianmum, thanks for mentioning it. It's the new 3rd series too - great advertising by the Beeb to say it was coming. Why they cancelled it in the first place I'll never understand. And we have at least 2 more series after this to look forward to. |

I can highly recommend those TV shows :
House of cards
True detective
The Americans
Game of thrones
The walking dead
Suits
Ballers (for fun)
Boardwalk empire
Breaking bad
American horror story
There's no specific order of quality. Every of these is great for me.
Enjoy |

hi there, I am sure you did, but if you didn't watch "Lost" yet, just give it a try please :-). It was originally aired between 2004 to 2010. I think this was the best TV series ever.

One of the best things I've seen recently is called 'The Jinx - The Lives and Deaths of Robert Durst'
Don't google it or do any research. Just dive in.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it (probably), but just finished the first series of Marvel's Daredevil. I think it's excellent; a lot darker than you'd imagine and some great performances.

I watched the 1st 2 episodes of Fear the Walking Dead last night. It's a little slow to get going, but the characters and acting are excellent and it does a cracking good job of portraying a developing zombie apocalypse. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Endeavour on ITV3 Thursdays. It's about the young inspector Morse, wonderfully produced and very well acted (Shaun Evans and Roger Allam).

Game of Thrones fans will love it, I'm sure! | | | | | Outlander is a womans romance novel posing as a TV series and has nothing of the complexity of Game of Thrones

| | Re: good TV series recomendations..... ? | Quote: | | | | | Check out The Strain, really good story and suspense. | | | | | Ultimately it is just another vampire story - which starts off a lot better than it ends - sadly.
Ray Donovan series 3 has got going nicely - although there is far less of the "in episode" story than series 1 (but that is a common US series issue). Lovejoy plays Ian McShane as Finney and is a great part-bad-guy. You can feel the tension rise
Suits series 5 has just reached the mid-point with a great history episode - full of flashbacks to help understand both Harvey and Mike. Crescendoed beautifully to the end before whacking you round the head with a massive twist.
Fortitude twisted our heads inside out through the first couple of episodes - but by 3 we were hooked. Episode 7 was the WTF episode where you become aware of events ahead of the characters. Meanwhile every episode ends with you questioning who exactly are the good guys, who are the bad guys and where the hell is it going!
Penny Dreadful series 2 and Orange is the new Black series 3 are both queued up ready for viewing. How to get away with murder series 2 also starts soon (this week I think).
