The storylines are coming together now as for a while there, I thought it was a bit all over the place - I am sure I spent many a GOT evening frowning at the telly | This user would like to thank for this useful post:

Unreal on Amazon Prime is worth a look, in my opinion. It's horrible and brilliant and, I suspect, rather too real in the events it portrays.
In a nutshell, it has the small dark haired actress from Roswell - remember Roswell? - proving that, actually, she's a damn fine actress, and Constance Zimmer, who is incredible - as assistant producer and producer of a "The Bachelor" type reality show.
Yes, the premise awful, and the characters are often as reprehensible as you'd expect, but... wow.
It's excellent. Highly recommended. The writing is top-notch.

I have not subscribed to Amazon Prime.. yet. How is Amazon for value/ choice?
I have Sky and Netflix and to be honest sometimes I wonder why I have either. There are just a few movies, tv series and film choices worth watching and the rest is just cheap poor quality packing. Netflix are very slow to update their streaming service with new choices.. and as for Sky, they charge you an expensive monthly fee and then expect you to pay the extra fee to see the higher rated new Movies - and even when the movie status changes from new to old
At least Netflix is a better deal compared to Sky.
Anyway, I have spent more time lately rummaging around in second hand book stores |

Rory Kinnear is excellent with the sensitively played John Clare, but that's Kinnear for you, I really like him.

I love a good second hand book shop... sigh. I even like that slightly fusty smell!
Yeah - I like Prime. There's quite a lot of choice and as you also get unlimited one day delivery essentially thrown in for free, I think it's a good deal. It's like Netflix in that they have their own "original" series' and I believe it's better served for box sets than film, but I'm more of a box set girl anyway to be honest. They have a new "watch abroad" feature which means you can log on with out a VPN and access selected content (their own Amazon Originals) which is a pretty good notion: The Man in the High Castle, Mr Robot etc - Bosch is fab.
Obviously if you also want the DVDs by post thing, that's extra.
I think they're like Netflix and let you try for free?

Just started watching 'Wrecked'.
It is basically a comedy version of 'Lost'.
Not the best show ever, but still worth a watch.
cheers

Good opening episode, but can they sustain the rather whacky police series?? | | | | | First season much better than the others IMO, it's like they decided to up the quirk at the expense of remaining true to character. I love Tim Roth in it though.

GoT was really good this series - terribly exciting, don't you think?
Penny Dreadful finished too and it was simply marvellous. The final two episodes were excellent, what an ending? Rory Kinnear and Eva Green are both stand out remarkable talents.
I couldn't help but engage totally in Rory Kinnear's John Clare. The voice-over narrated scene at the very end was perfect! Kinnear's beautiful voice.. sigh, think I'm in love | This user would like to thank for this useful post:

GoT was fab, save the teleportation of Varys across locations.
And now I wonder what's Dany's end game? I mean just ruling Westeros? Why?
To me she's 'the other side of the coin' to the Night King. Wonder if he has any 'Ice-Dragons' up in his sleeve |

I really must catch up with Penny Dreadful!
Did you see The Living and the Dead? If it turns out to be The Others for telly, I'll be annoyed. Colin Morgan is a beautiful boy.

Series 2: LuPone and Green in the house on the moors.
Series 3: Green in the asylum, Kinnear her carer.
Great TV when scripts allow actors the elbow room to soar. Superb.
No, not seen the living and the dead. Is it on Netflix?

| | | | | Took Rufuses recommendation, and although not my kind of thing - really got into it. Very atmospheric. It's on BBC iPlayer, so you'll need a VPN unless you want to watch it on a streaming site such as Primewire.ag.
Might start to watch Penny Dreadful after all on Netflix now if it's anything similar.

Penny Dreadful is a lot darker, a lot more explicit (in pretty much every way) and there's definitely more horror to go with the Gothic.
Is very good, but I have to watch it with the lights on!
Swisstree - how many seasons are on Netflix?
