I started watching 'Dark Matter' yesterday.
Its sort of 'Farscape' mixed with the humour of the latter seasons of 'Stargate'.......if that makes any sense.
Not the greatest show ever made but very watchable if you are a fan of the two shows mentioned above.
cheers

As far as I'm concerned, Magnum P.I. is still the best series on tv. All that new stuff is unwatchable. | This user would like to thank lost_inbroad for this useful post: | |

| | | | | Agreed, good show. First season was entertaining, the second season is outright good. Great story, decent acting. Same producer / writer as Stargate, so it's little surprising that it shares some of its elements.

SC | | | | | I started it at the weekend. Hmm. Has potential but it's no Farscape, as you say. It's no Firefly either, although there are nods to it with the mysterious teenager and the angry dude who shoots first and asks questions... never. No Mal Reynolds though.
Anyone seen Killjoys? It's a similar vein but review are mixed and I'm not sure whether I want to download it or not.

Curently indulging myself in that new DRAMA Channel with all the re-runs of old stuff such as
Dalziel and Pascoe
New Tricks, I just love the old Fogeys
Birds of a Feather
Also the BBC2 revival of old comedy shows is quite neat, tho' whilst 'Are you being served' was kinda funny, 'Porridge' wasn't....Ronnie B. owned the role of Fletcher and can't be replaced, bar David Jason in the new 'Still Open All hours'.

have seen californication, fringe, thrones.
what other tv series is good? dont say big bang theory as thats shite.. | | | | | Your tastes sound similar to mine; Homeland, Fringe, GoT.
Watch the series Preacher - good stuff. I've heard from a reliable source that "The Night Of" is also very good but have yet to check it out myself. Enjoy
EDIT - shite didn't realise your post was from 2012. Dang, no matter tastes stay the same, only trends change.

FWIW season 4 of House of Cards is finally up on Netflix Switzerland. No French subtitles though.
personally I got so fed up with the third season that I can't be bothered anymore. Also I've got my hands full catching up on Game of Thrones and watching The Flash with the kids. And there's also Daredevil and Stranger Things and Orphan Black and maybe Luke Cage...

Am waiting for Absolutely Fabulous the Movie to get here.
It's been in the non-mainstream cinemas here in Zurich.
But for this one I'd be prepared to travel.

RTS has confirmed that from 3 October it will start airing HBO's series Westworld 24 hours after US broadcast.
And tomorrow, France 2 will start airing Mr. Robot season 1 (yes, one). Oh well, better late than never.
