I binge watched the OA.. couldn't stop. She is quite something, very engaging.. mesmerizing character. Great actress. Yes, give it another go. Super story.

Stranger things is just magic.

I watched travelers based on your recommendation and yes, it's very good, really liked it. My fav character was Grace
I liked the social worker. Poor guy...

The actress from The OA is in a film she also wrote called Another Earth ( or possibly Another World). It's low budget but compelling.

Oh my, forgotten about him.. how could I forget about him?! He was great..

(SPOILER ALERT)

The look of dismay and hurt on the student's face when Grace changed was simply priceless The new Grace was brilliant! A great ending too, I thought..

I know. Bless him. I loved the way we were only drip fed facts about their previous selves.

In other news, I have Westworld in its entirety all ready to go...just as soon as LR sleeps...

Sorry Laughing Cow, our posts overlapped.

Oh, and the rebooted Marcy who just didn't know what she didn't know... heartbreaking.

Not a problem . It's a good show. However, they won't be making the next season until 2018 !

Really? I don't think that's at all acceptable...

I've just found a series linked recording of a series called Believe which, I think, has the same girl from Stranger Things in. Bobbi something? She's good in that.

Yep, unfortunately.

However, Westworld is an old show ( or movie ?), and the new series is a re-make. So, one could watch the older version in the meantime. I'm sure they'll change the plot in the newer version.

Oh I've seen the Yul Brynner original... and clocked the bit where that old character looks to be in storage! Excellent but disturbing...

Another good Scifi is Battlestar Galactica. Originally made in the 70's, and re-made in 2004.

I watched the 2004 version, and liked it.

Then you'll remember David Hatch who passed away this week aged 71. Only cast member who appeared in both the series.

I think I watched one episode of Firefly and couldn't get into it . Usually, I give a show two to three episodes before I stop watching. So, maybe I should try it again.

NoOooh! Series first, in the box set order not the original series broadcast order which ballsed things up mightily. Serenity (the film) afterwards.

Farscape anyone?

Did anyone watch Terry Pratchett Back in Black on BBC 2? Paul Kaye does a great job. I now have a huge lump in my throat...

Oh Sir Terry you are missed.

Just finished watching The OA. I agree, it's really good. The ending was confusing, leaving some conspiracy theories. Hopefully we got to see some answers in season 2.
