Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

American Gods is pretty great. I like how it expands on (and changes some) elements from the novel, but still feels very true to Gaiman's writing. And Ian McShane is absolutely perfect as Mr Wednesday.

And man, Twin Peaks... Never thought I'd be watching a new season of that in 2017!

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

Yeah, you should!

It's very much a Bryan Fuller show. Same sort of dreamy fantasy sequences as in Hannibal (only here those dreams are actually real), and he seems to have recycled almost all the music from there as well.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

For comedies, Veep (and The Thick of It before it) used to be a favorite, but these days it seems less like a satire of politics and more like a less-insane parallel universe.

Master of None is great, and on Netflix.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

Oops, all change at 5-O as two cast members leave.

"The producer of US TV show Hawaii Five-0 has spoken out about the departure of two cast members following reports the pair asked to be paid the same as their white co-stars.

Peter Lenkov said Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park were offered "unprecedented raises" but "chose to move on".

http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-40529720

Alex O'Loughlin has already said the upcoming series will be his last too so I don't know how much longer it's likely to keep going.
